// about me

I am Dilip Raghavan

I am a WordPress engineer with deep expertise in custom plugin development, WooCommerce architecture, and headless WordPress with Next.js. I specialise in building the backend infrastructure that modern platforms run on — the kind of work that page builders cannot do.

My focus is on clean, object-oriented PHP built to PSR standards, deep integration with WordPress and WooCommerce internals, and decoupled architectures that use WordPress as a headless CMS with React-based frontends deployed on Vercel.

I build everything from custom payment gateways and complex checkout flows to WPGraphQL APIs consumed by Next.js 14 frontends with server-side rendering, JWT authentication, and on-demand revalidation. No Elementor. No ACF. Just engineered code.

Every project in my portfolio is built from scratch and open source on GitHub.

How I Work

No Shortcuts

I do not use page builders, drag-and-drop plugins, or low-code solutions for work that requires engineering. Every line of code I write is intentional, maintainable, and follows WordPress coding standards.

Security First

Proper input sanitisation, nonce verification, capability checks, and output escaping are not optional. I follow WordPress security best practices on every project, not just the high-profile ones.

Built to Last

I write code that the next developer — or future me — can understand and extend. OOP architecture, clear separation of concerns, and thorough inline documentation are standard on every project.
